Gravity LC Latest...

November
Gavity lc took us to Musbury to a beautiful track, fast flowing and a bit technical in places. Unfortunatly Liam had the front sprocket come lose after leading for the first 5 laps and got towed back to the pits. he worked realy hard to get back into the leaders but ran out of time and finished with a respectable sixth place.

O.R.E. had their final round at Creech hill, the track was wet and hard work in the maze stubble, a track more suited to the bigger bikes. All that was managed was 4 laps and at the end of them Liam (pictured left) had 2nd place which was enough to give him the campionship. At the end of the O.R.E. season we have 2 campionships one in the 11-14yrs and the other in the 12-16yrs group, not to bad for a first season.

December
We found ourselfs at a very very cold Smeatharp, the track was suprisingly dry after the posponment of the meeting the week before, there was very fast straights and some bits of tarmac just to make it interesting. Liam took it steady for a couple of laps and then took the lead, working from 5th up to 1st were he stayed for the rest of the race. The track was riding flat out and for the first time we had to pit twice for fuel using a total of 13 ltr insteadof the usual 9ltr, but we won’t worry about that as he was within 45 seconds of lapping 2nd place.

January
Round 9 of gravity had us traveling tohensridge air field near to shaftsbury. The track was hard work and thick with mud and it took its tol on a number of bikes with around 8 of the 29 starters not finishing. Liam unfortunatly got stuck on an uphill section and trapped 2 of the veriator rollers on the bike and got a tow back to the pits after only 2 laps. We managed to get him out again but had lost about 5 laps in the mean time, he battled on and got to finish a hard worked 10th, but atleast we got the points for the finish.
