Quads carry out
work on most ATV/Sports Quads to put them through a SVA (Single Vehicle Approval) test which is carried out by the government
agency VOSA (Vehicle &
Operators Services Agency).
When we have carried
out the neccessary work to the ATV/Sports Quad, it then goes in for a
test and, when it passes, a certificate is issued by VOSA to
prove that the vehicle is now
Road Legal.
We can then register
the quad for the road as a PLG vehicle.
We will not supply
a quad for the road, if it is registered agriculturally, unless proof
is provided that it is to be used for forestry, horticultural or farm
use.
If you have been supplied
with a quad without an SVA test, and it is registered as agricultural
but you are not using it for this purpose, you are breaking the law. Please
don't give the Quad industry a bad name and do it the right way! If you
value your licence, and your quad, get it
done properly and RIDE SAFELY!
